A mediocre season in terms of results for the team, only 1660 pts, 2 wins and 4 results. Wins came from Denis Halas who won the CL TT Ora d´oro di Ticino while the 2nd win was a back to back BA win for Georg Alfe in Prague – Liberec.
The only riders to score points for the team were Krawczyk (460pts), Halas (420pts), Alfke (390pts), Funder (340pts) and Lukaszewski (50pts).
But all this was a bit aside to what was really happening in the team – the training and transition to white/red flag only countries.
We have trained 2 climbing team mates Heribert Baumert and Tobiasz Antoniak, two cobbler helpers Aydin Yardim and Felix Ausserleitner, a very promising AV50 climber/tour rider Jonatan Edvard and we have bought two DH guides Ole Bjerregaard and Dominic Bernoulli. We are also currently training another downhiller Lars Sipes and a climber Mike Ottoman.
All above riders come from white/red flag countries: Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Turkey.
At the same time other riders were sold/released and we are left with only 3 riders from non white/red flag countries. One of them (Yannis) will probably retire this season and the other two will retire in the next seasons. So we now have 85% of white/red flag riders.
Lastly, Kajetan Lis has ended his career and we are all thankful for the time he spent with the team. His palmares is very unique, as it includes 5 results in Lappi Sea classic race – and nothing else! Seems like Kajetan really liked only that one race in the OCM calendar…
Goals for S61 is to complete training of Lars and Mike, continue the succesful rides in CB races and hopefully grab some podiums in DH races.

Yeah, it might sound awkward, 1.6k pts might be a lot, but for a div1/2 team thats not that good. I used to have 1.6k pts back in S35 already, so this is a bit of a step backwords if you look at it that way. Anyway, lets see what S61 brings us!

Yes, hopefully your DH-team will soon be so competitive that you can go for the win in all races!
