Season 59 was very interesting.
The team scored 4 wins and all of them were Break Away wins! One came from Jacek Pietrzak in Torino GP and 3 other came from Georg Alfke in CB races. But even those 3 wins and 560 pts didnt allow Georg to be the best scorer – it was Kajetan Krawczyk with 630pts and 3 results, though 0 wins.
Other riders scoring points were Nick Funder (350), Denis Halas (200), George Vandommele (114), Rodolphe Jandel (60) and Gustaw Banas (60).
Since we mentioned Gustaw, we’d like to thank him for spending his whole career with our team. Georg retired earlier this season and those last 60 points socred this season allowed him to advance to 19th place in Polish riders all time ranking. Well done Gustaw and looking forward to seeing you as our trainer soon.
The biggest highlight of the season was a decision to change the team focus – so far we were focusing on European talents, but from Season 60 the team plans to have only riders from countries with White-Red flag colors. The transition has already begun and we have sold a few riders which means we now have the highest ever amount of cash in the bank – we are nearly millioners! Some riders will retire with the team, others will be sold. We already have a lot of great young talents to train and currently team has 70% of its riders coming from white/red flag countries. Hope to have 100% by Season 62.
