After spending 14 seasons with our team Bernard Kozak decided to end his career today.
Bernard joined the team in Season 40 and quickly become the main pave pacer for Julian Cichocki, team's lead cobbler back then. During this time Bernard's best result was 6th place after a succesful breakaway in Antwerpen - Huy div 1 classic.
In seasons 45 and 46 Bernard reached his peak of form and took over the captains role in cobbles from Julian. Sadly, his inability to ride on flat across the wind didnt allow him to be very competetive. He did however take a win in Criterium Qiantong #21 and finished 2nd in two other races.
Now, aged 36, Bernard says goodbye to professional bike riding. We would like to thank him for all those years of racing with our team and if Bernard decides to become a trainer, we will gladly welcome him back in future.
