Greetings and welcome again to another short resume of the last 90 days. With no notice of the former S74 to be found, and manager pondering his options due to lack of motivation/careless attitude the team began a slightly recovering this past season.
The role of De Fauw finally consolidated in the squad, as the main leader of the team, scoring 50% of the points. King was the main surprise of the season, finding good legs along with an accidental triggering that convinced manager Williamson this bunch of lazy riders have a whole extra in their tanks.
Many points were missed in the first third of the season, when management tended to forget to set tactics before races. Instead of an angry reaction from head coach, he only scoffed at the screen, seeing the 15th or below position obtained. It was like being on autopilot, waking up, showering, eating, working, lunch break, and back home again; nothing else. If cyclist did good or not didn’t matter around mid november, the peak of this sort of inner crisis and even talking to other people was surprise for days, remaining silent and absent 24/7.
Shaking off that feeling of emptiness, by D70 manager Williamson was 100% involved and caring for the team, which allowed a quick climb up back to D2 after some seasons. Despite missing tactics again the first race of S76, he chuckled and then set tactics, obtaining a good result with a rider who is rumored to leave the team after the record transfer of Van Hove, our first 1 million purchase.
1480 points, 4 wins and 15 results was better than the previous campaigns, also the overall good energy of the cyclists, trying to get back the attention of their manager. Here is the line up for S76, with a new Captain Ahab.
