Pie Corner Pelican Race (Individual Time Trial race) became very interesting and incredibly close, as Mamun Bhoumik (Los Aviones) only just managed to beat Kevin Calwaert (Youngnastyteam) with two seconds. Another few seconds behind them was Jens Kjeldsen from Los Aviones who was in lead most of the day. Unfortunately for him, he couldn't keep up the same speed as his competitors on the last 8 kilometres, and he had to make do with a third place.
My legs felt good today, so I gave it everything I had, said Mamun Bhoumik after winning Pie Corner Pelican Race.The manager of Los Aviones was proud of his rider today. Mamun Bhoumik has been training and preparing himself for this race. It's an important victory - both for Mamun Bhoumik but also for the team.
