Perfect debut for Pacome King

Many climbs, a sunny day and several attacks shaped the race in Keuruu - Jyväskylä. One after another, the riders tried to break away from the main group, though no one could succeed.
When the final climb was near, ICTeam and Ayotunde Assale made sure no one could attack by setting a high tempo in the lead. At the end of the climb, only the strongest climbers were in front. With 1.5 kilometres to go, (ICTeam) launched an attack, which Ayotunde Assale (ICTeam) and Pacome King (ICTeam) easily countered.
Alassane Mandinko lost Ayotunde Assale's wheel when the sprint was launched, and Pacome King had a close sprint with Ayotunde Assale. Pacome King was the fastest in the sprint, leaving Ayotunde Assale only a few inches behind. Alassane Mandinko, who had no power left for the sprint, secured his third place only 3 seconds later.
I'm happy the team picked me for the stage. I knew I could do it (win), and I wanted to prove it as well, said the happy winner who continued with a smile on his face: My preparations were perfect, I had a perfect day, and I won!.
It's good to see Pacome King fulfilling his ambitions winning this stage. He deserves the victory more than anyone else, said the proud manager of ICTeam, Ivory, and continued: The team was a good support for him (Pacome King) today, and he clearly proved his worth in the break away today.
