When the final climb was near, Dranac Race Team and Domenico Cabral made sure no one could attack by setting a high tempo in the lead. At the end of the climb, only the strongest climbers were in front. With 1.5 kilometres to go, (West Hill Velo) launched an attack, which Domenico Cabral (CC Teams) and Kynan Bradman (Dranac Race Team) easily countered.
Anders Lind lost Domenico Cabral's wheel when the sprint was launched, and Kynan Bradman had a close sprint with Domenico Cabral. Kynan Bradman was the fastest in the sprint, leaving Domenico Cabral only a few inches behind. Anders Lind, who had no power left for the sprint, secured his third place only 3 seconds later.
