Stanley Witham steals the focus

Many climbs, a sunny day and several attacks shaped the race in Trondheim-Ă…lesund (Stage 5 of Norway Tour). One after another, the riders tried to break away from the main group, though no one could succeed.
When the final climb was near, Spin Doctors and Riley Mears made sure no one could attack by setting a high tempo in the lead. At the end of the climb, only the strongest climbers were in front. With 1.5 kilometres to go, (PetrolGas) launched an attack, which Riley Mears (NightmareChaos) and Stanley Witham (Spin Doctors) easily countered.
David Lefauheur lost Riley Mears's wheel when the sprint was launched, and Stanley Witham had a close sprint with Riley Mears. Stanley Witham was the fastest in the sprint, leaving Riley Mears only a few inches behind. David Lefauheur, who had no power left for the sprint, secured his third place only 3 seconds later.
I'm happy the team picked me for the stage. I knew I could do it (win), and I wanted to prove it as well, said the happy winner who continued with a smile on his face: My preparations were perfect, I had a perfect day, and I won!.
Spin Doctors's manager, Oli, was satisfied after the result on the 5th of Norway Tour. Stanley Witham did very well today. Everything turned out as we planned it, and Stanley Witham had the power to win, said the manager.
