Victoriano Feijoo seals victory

Today was a day for the break-away?ers in Villamalefa - Castellón (3th of Vuelta de los Castillos). From the first kilometre, several riders were trying to get away from the peloton. The first serious attack started when a small group of riders got away from the peloton at 12 km of the stage.
The weather played a big role of today?s race. The bike got a big wash as well as the riders. The break away didn?t seem to be effected by the weather though: they kept increasing the lead. No one in the peloton took the initiative to catch up the break away due to the rainy weather.
In the break away the riders cooperated perfectly and they kept a good distance to the peloton the entire race. With a few kilometres to go, the break away ended in a sprint. 100 metres to go, Hermenegildo Jordão launched the sprint, but both Victoriano Feijoo and Bienvenido Ochoa passed him in the sprint. Victoriano Feijoo ended up as winner, with Bienvenido Ochoa right behind him.
The stage today was perfect for me. I felt good in my legs, and when the attack got launched, I had a feeling that I could do this, said Victoriano Feijoo to the interviewers and continued: I couldn't have done this without my team or my manager; they have a just a big part in this win as me.
Adilson Silva, manager of Team AEK, was happy with the result: The whole team did well today. Everything turned out as we hoped, and luckily, Victoriano Feijoo was the strongest rider out there today. The proud manager didn't hide that he was satisfied with Victoriano Feijoo's result. Victoriano Feijoo did well. No one deserved the victory more than him. He put his focus on this stage long ago, and he kept his motivation high. I'm happy for him and the team, said Adilson Silva.
