Kolbjørn Birkeland, Peloton Pushers, was the fastest rider among the participants in the individual time trial race, (Stage 1 of Haute-Normandie). Kolbjørn Birkeland was incredible fast on the final kilometres, as he was only second at the last split time. Infront of him was Megaman's Ambar Nakabale who became second overall on the stage. Another interesting name was Prospero Quino Riquelme from Abelixe who started out with an incredible tempo, which he of course couldn't keep going. He lost many important seconds on the second part of the route, which moved him to the third place overall. I'm very happy for my win today. It means a lot to me, said Kolbjørn Birkeland and continued: I couldn't have done this without my team. I can't thank them enough. It's good to see Kolbjørn Birkeland fulfilling his ambitions winning this stage. He deserves the victory more than anyone else, said the proud manager of Peloton Pushers, Lince Armstrang.
