Artur Gravato was the fastest rider in the peloton when Denain - Orchies was coming to an end. Artur Gravato speeded up and managed to get several meters ahead of the competitors in the ordinary sprint. Behind him was Calvin Cyganowski, Team Arctic, struggling with Julij Kosma? from Universität Marburg. Julij Kosma? saw his competitor get across the finishing line only a few miliseconds before himself, while both of them could only watch while Artur Gravato raised his hands for the victory.
Artur Gravato wasn't surprised after winning Denain - Orchies. I simply knew I could do it. I felt good all day, and when the end was there, I gave everything I had, said the confident winner.
The manager of Universität Marburg was proud of his rider today. Artur Gravato has been training and preparing himself for this race. It's an important victory - both for Artur Gravato but also for the team.
