Arne De Jonge struggles to first victory

The many climbs in Encamp Street Race didn't give any good ideas for the riders. No riders attacked the entire stage through. When the final climb was near, the strongest riders settled themselves in front of the peloton. Fireworks Cycling took a confident lead, supporting Arne De Jonge. The devistating tempo set by Fireworks Cycling crushed rider by rider. When Arne De Jonge ran out of supporting riders, he had only 3 other competitors to beat. One of them, Nordin Borker (Fireworks Cycling), launched a quick attack and managed to sit a lone in front for a short time. He only had Arne De Jonge and Jeroen Doderwinkel (Fireworks Cycling) behind him now. Nordin Borker could not keep the tempo high, and eventually, both Arne De Jonge and Jeroen Doderwinkel passed him by.
Jeroen Doderwinkel launched the sprint, but Arne De Jonge outrunned him and became the winner.
Arne De Jonge was happy with the result. It has been my dream for a long time to win this stage, and finally I succeed, said the smiling winner.
Gilles Therron, manager of Fireworks Cycling, was happy with the result: The whole team did well today. Everything turned out as we hoped, and luckily, Arne De Jonge was the strongest rider out there today. The proud manager didn't hide that he was satisfied with Arne De Jonge's result. Arne De Jonge did well. No one deserved the victory more than him. He put his focus on this stage long ago, and he kept his motivation high. I'm happy for him and the team, said Gilles Therron.
