Conero cycling team's Konstantin Vavilov takes victory

Belgrade - Novi Sad became an interesting race, as Feliciano Escriva from rouches and Andrea Giannoni from de stamper opened up the stage with an astonishing attack after only 19 km. The two riders managed to keep a gap to the peloton all the way through the stage, though one rider was termined to catch them up. Konstantin Vavilov (Conero cycling team) easily joined the break away after 37 km, which now consisted of three strong riders.
Feliciano Escriva, who originally launched the attack, had problems following the other two in the end, meaning that he could not take part in the sprint, though he was only 7 seconds behind. The sprint, which was opened by Andrea Giannoni was very close, and it was only in the ending Konstantin Vavilov managed to get the lead and win on the rainy day.
Konstantin Vavilov didn't hide his happiness for winning the stage. I have dreamed of this for long. My result today proves that hard training is worth it, said the cheerful winner, who yet has no current plans for the next race to strike at.
The stage couldn't turn out any better than this. Konstantin Vavilov did a perfect job today, said Gianluca, manager of Conero cycling team, after the race.
