IndieRock had the race under control as Volta do Belo Horizonte was about to be terminated in a tough sprint. The supporting riders of Ambrose Stainer made the job easy for him, and he managed to claim the victory safely. He was hardly threatened by his competitors, Valentin Fogelström, second, and Falko Stallmaier, third.
IndieRock's Ambrose Stainer didn't hide his joy when winning the Volta do Belo Horizonte. It's incredible. I didn't expect this at all. I just wanted to try, I aimed for being 5th or 6th, but suddenly I was in the lead! said the happy winner.
The stage couldn't turn out any better than this. Ambrose Stainer did a perfect job today, said Eugenio, manager of IndieRock, after the race.
