Hidden prodigy? Fontana Borrello took his first stage

The many climbs in Verona-Bolzano G5 didn't give any good ideas for the riders. No riders attacked the entire stage through. When the final climb was near, the strongest riders settled themselves in front of the peloton. parderodas took a confident lead, supporting Fontana Borrello. The devistating tempo set by parderodas crushed rider by rider. When Fontana Borrello ran out of supporting riders, he had only 3 other competitors to beat. One of them, Zaim Imad (Roderunners), launched a quick attack and managed to sit a lone in front for a short time. He only had Fontana Borrello and Sherman Ross (Bauer Power) behind him now. Zaim Imad could not keep the tempo high, and eventually, both Fontana Borrello and Sherman Ross passed him by.
Sherman Ross launched the sprint, but Fontana Borrello outrunned him and became the winner.
I'm happy the team picked me for the stage. I knew I could do it (win), and I wanted to prove it as well, said the happy winner who continued with a smile on his face: My preparations were perfect, I had a perfect day, and I won!.
The stage couldn't turn out any better than this. Fontana Borrello did a perfect job today, said joelpinheiro, manager of parderodas, after the race.
