Gill Kaisen breaks the ice

Team Sky BE's Gill Kaisen defeated his nearest competitors when the peloton arrived at the finishing line in Vitsyebsk - Vitsyebsk. Hajdó Máté from Klacus opened the sprint with Gill Kaisen right behind him, though Hajdó Máté had no chance to follow his competitors when Gill Kaisen boosted ahead. Gill Kaisen won the stage only a few inches ahead of Lilly's Salehe Nsambu who took the second place. Hajdó Máté barely held his position as third.
Gill Kaisen wasn't surprised after winning Vitsyebsk - Vitsyebsk. I simply knew I could do it. I felt good all day, and when the end was there, I gave everything I had, said the confident winner.
Hunterke, manager of Team Sky BE, was happy with the result: The whole team did well today. Everything turned out as we hoped, and luckily, Gill Kaisen was the strongest rider out there today. The proud manager didn't hide that he was satisfied with Gill Kaisen's result. Gill Kaisen did well. No one deserved the victory more than him. He put his focus on this stage long ago, and he kept his motivation high. I'm happy for him and the team, said Hunterke.
