Svalbard Trek had a perfect day after controlling the race in Szczecin CBGP. The sprint was set perfectly for Solomon Birch, who just had to sprint along and win when his team mates launched the sprint. It was a close race between Adrian Deroek from Hommelbier and Solomon Birch, though, Solomon Birch's win was never really threatened.
Svalbard Trek's Solomon Birch didn't hide his joy when winning the Szczecin CBGP. It's incredible. I didn't expect this at all. I just wanted to try, I aimed for being 5th or 6th, but suddenly I was in the lead! said the happy winner.
The stage couldn't turn out any better than this. Solomon Birch did a perfect job today, said Hans, manager of Svalbard Trek, after the race.
