Perfect debut for Theo Gerstmayr

The many climbs in Prilip GP didn't give any good ideas for the riders. No riders attacked the entire stage through. When the final climb was near, the strongest riders settled themselves in front of the peloton. Vaduz took a confident lead, supporting Theo Gerstmayr. The devistating tempo set by Vaduz crushed rider by rider. When Theo Gerstmayr ran out of supporting riders, he had only 3 other competitors to beat. One of them, Tornyi Lajos (Rock Tour Team Hungary), launched a quick attack and managed to sit a lone in front for a short time. He only had Theo Gerstmayr and Szirtesi Bence (Rock Tour Team Hungary) behind him now. Tornyi Lajos could not keep the tempo high, and eventually, both Theo Gerstmayr and Szirtesi Bence passed him by.
Szirtesi Bence launched the sprint, but Theo Gerstmayr outrunned him and became the winner.
Today's stage fit well for me - I simply had to try my luck. And see what happened?, said a smiling Theo Gerstmayr. The winner had no other comments, he quickly went to the team bus in order to celebrate the win.
Friedrich, manager of Vaduz, was happy with the result: The whole team did well today. Everything turned out as we hoped, and luckily, Theo Gerstmayr was the strongest rider out there today. The proud manager didn't hide that he was satisfied with Theo Gerstmayr's result. Theo Gerstmayr did well. No one deserved the victory more than him. He put his focus on this stage long ago, and he kept his motivation high. I'm happy for him and the team, said Friedrich.
