Olivier Kremer struggles to first victory

The many climbs in Toledo - Cascavel didn't give any good ideas for the riders. No riders attacked the entire stage through. When the final climb was near, the strongest riders settled themselves in front of the peloton. Ac Saverne took a confident lead, supporting Olivier Kremer. The devistating tempo set by Ac Saverne crushed rider by rider. When Olivier Kremer ran out of supporting riders, he had only 3 other competitors to beat. One of them, Jeff Rask (Schønwalds Slaver), launched a quick attack and managed to sit a lone in front for a short time. He only had Olivier Kremer and Gabriel Budinský (Xannys) behind him now. Jeff Rask could not keep the tempo high, and eventually, both Olivier Kremer and Gabriel Budinský passed him by.
Gabriel Budinský launched the sprint, but Olivier Kremer outrunned him and became the winner.
Today's stage fit well for me - I simply had to try my luck. And see what happened?, said a smiling Olivier Kremer. The winner had no other comments, he quickly went to the team bus in order to celebrate the win.
Ac Saverne's manager, Theo, was satisfied after the result in Toledo - Cascavel. Olivier Kremer did very well today. Everything turned out as we planned it, and Olivier Kremer had the power to win, said the manager.
