Korneli Filip's first stage

The activity in the peloton was high in Fréjus - Col de Turini. Several riders attempted to break away. When the peloton passed the first 13 km, Abelardo Romo (Sanchx), Korneli Filip, (Polish Fighters) and Nahor Maggidi (Crouch End ) launched an attack. The peloton didn't take the attack too serious, which resulted in the trio fighting for the stage win. Korneli Filip won the sprint in the group, and became the happy winner of Fréjus - Col de Turini. Nahor Maggidi was second, and Abelardo Romo third.
I'm still in shock. When the attack started earlier today, I didn't expect to end up as winner, said the happy Polish Fighters rider, Korneli Filip. Only at the very end, I realized that this could be my chance, and so it was.
Michal, manager of Polish Fighters, was happy with the result: The whole team did well today. Everything turned out as we hoped, and luckily, Korneli Filip was the strongest rider out there today. The proud manager didn't hide that he was satisfied with Korneli Filip's result. Korneli Filip did well. No one deserved the victory more than him. He put his focus on this stage long ago, and he kept his motivation high. I'm happy for him and the team, said Michal.
