Cidro Cervera's first victory

Many climbs, a sunny day and several attacks shaped the race in South Shields GP. One after another, the riders tried to break away from the main group, though no one could succeed.
When the final climb was near, Majestic Cycling Team and Harris Strimple made sure no one could attack by setting a high tempo in the lead. At the end of the climb, only the strongest climbers were in front. With 1.5 kilometres to go, (Cabin Crew) launched an attack, which Harris Strimple (Cabin Crew) and Cidro Cervera (Majestic Cycling Team) easily countered.
Randolph Kiernan lost Harris Strimple's wheel when the sprint was launched, and Cidro Cervera had a close sprint with Harris Strimple. Cidro Cervera was the fastest in the sprint, leaving Harris Strimple only a few inches behind. Randolph Kiernan, who had no power left for the sprint, secured his third place only 3 seconds later.
I'm happy the team picked me for the stage. I knew I could do it (win), and I wanted to prove it as well, said the happy winner who continued with a smile on his face: My preparations were perfect, I had a perfect day, and I won!.
It's good to see Cidro Cervera fulfilling his ambitions winning this stage. He deserves the victory more than anyone else, said the proud manager of Majestic Cycling Team, Wickland, and continued: The team was a good support for him (Cidro Cervera) today, and he clearly proved his worth in the break away today.
