Oskar Kvam takes the victory

Many climbs, a sunny day and several attacks shaped the race in La Vall d’Uixó - Morella (Stage 4 of Vuelta de los Castillos). One after another, the riders tried to break away from the main group, though no one could succeed.
When the final climb was near, Team Oasis and Rudolf Nieuwendijk made sure no one could attack by setting a high tempo in the lead. At the end of the climb, only the strongest climbers were in front. With 1.5 kilometres to go, (Comfius) launched an attack, which Rudolf Nieuwendijk (Drollevangers) and Oskar Kvam (Team Oasis) easily countered.
Dolf Latomme lost Rudolf Nieuwendijk's wheel when the sprint was launched, and Oskar Kvam had a close sprint with Rudolf Nieuwendijk. Oskar Kvam was the fastest in the sprint, leaving Rudolf Nieuwendijk only a few inches behind. Dolf Latomme, who had no power left for the sprint, secured his third place only 3 seconds later.
Today's stage fit well for me - I simply had to try my luck. And see what happened?, said a smiling Oskar Kvam. The winner had no other comments, he quickly went to the team bus in order to celebrate the win.
The manager of Team Oasis was proud of his rider today. Oskar Kvam has been training and preparing himself for this race. It's an important victory - both for Oskar Kvam but also for the team.
