HSE24 Racing's Togawa Daishi wins his first stage


  Even though several riders tried to break away, no one managed to keep it going in Bähenden - Hawdan Gechidi. The strongest riders in the peloton stayed together in the leading group. The finishing climb became a secretion of riders, until Togawa Daishi (HSE24 Racing) and Lounglath Tongphet (HSE24 Racing) were alone in the front. As it looked as they were heading for a sprint on the top, Lounglath Tongphet suddenly could follow Togawa Daishi who climbed the final kilometre alone. The audience cheered as Togawa Daishi crossed the line with his arms raised high. Lounglath Tongphet came in a little later as second. The third place were terminated by a group of 4 who sprinted a long. Cong Jinbo was fastest in the group, and safely took the third place.
I'm happy the team picked me for the stage. I knew I could do it (win), and I wanted to prove it as well, said the happy winner who continued with a smile on his face: My preparations were perfect, I had a perfect day, and I won!.
It's good to see Togawa Daishi fulfilling his ambitions winning this stage. He deserves the victory more than anyone else, said the proud manager of HSE24 Racing, Schmidonkey, and continued: The team was a good support for him (Togawa Daishi) today, and he clearly proved his worth in the break away today.
