Sander Morissen takes the first step

The activity in the peloton was high in Lanark - Lanark. Several riders attempted to break away. When the peloton passed the first 19 km, Lyly Sandemo (Forza Verde), Sander Morissen, (GJVelo) and Bartholomew Abayomi (De Bitterballetjes) launched an attack. The peloton didn't take the attack too serious, which resulted in the trio fighting for the stage win. Sander Morissen won the sprint in the group, and became the happy winner of Lanark - Lanark. Bartholomew Abayomi was second, and Lyly Sandemo third.
I'm still in shock. When the attack started earlier today, I didn't expect to end up as winner, said the happy GJVelo rider, Sander Morissen. Only at the very end, I realized that this could be my chance, and so it was.
Eddie H, manager of GJVelo, was happy with the result: The whole team did well today. Everything turned out as we hoped, and luckily, Sander Morissen was the strongest rider out there today. The proud manager didn't hide that he was satisfied with Sander Morissen's result. Sander Morissen did well. No one deserved the victory more than him. He put his focus on this stage long ago, and he kept his motivation high. I'm happy for him and the team, said Eddie H.
