Many climbs, a sunny day and several attacks shaped the race in Grandprix Dermatio. One after another, the riders tried to break away from the main group, though no one could succeed. When the final climb was near, Ello Ello and Jeremias Quadros made sure no one could attack by setting a high tempo in the lead. At the end of the climb, only the strongest climbers were in front. With 1.5 kilometres to go, (Zeroheroes) launched an attack, which Jeremias Quadros (rad1) and Javiero Acarons (Ello Ello) easily countered. Torsten Taulov lost Jeremias Quadros's wheel when the sprint was launched, and Javiero Acarons had a close sprint with Jeremias Quadros. Javiero Acarons was the fastest in the sprint, leaving Jeremias Quadros only a few inches behind. Torsten Taulov, who had no power left for the sprint, secured his third place only 3 seconds later. Javiero Acarons was happy for his efforts today. It was a tough day today, but with the result of it, it suddenly feels like nothing. I'm so happy I won today. I didn't expect it at all, said the pleased winner. The stage couldn't turn out any better than this. Javiero Acarons did a perfect job today, said Henri Tolstokozhev, manager of Ello Ello, after the race.
