Klement Duda takes the first step

Early on the stage, five optimistic riders attacked on the first climbs of Keuruu - Jyväskylä. They managed to keep a gap between them and the peloton until they reached the final climb. At the bottom of the climb, the group of favourites passed them. Rider by rider, they couldn't keep up with the tempo set by Electro Alavesa, who were supporting Cuartio Correa. Right behind the riders of Electro Alavesa was Klement Duda and Benjamin Svoboda lurking. Cuartio Correa looked strong, and seemed to have a good day, but when Benjamin Svoboda launched an attack, only Klement Duda could follow. Klement Duda made a counter-attack and was suddenly alone in the front, as Cuartio Correa caught up Benjamin Svoboda once again. Klement Duda secured his victory without problems, while Cuartio Correa was faster in the sprint than Benjamin Svoboda.
I'm happy the team picked me for the stage. I knew I could do it (win), and I wanted to prove it as well, said the happy winner who continued with a smile on his face: My preparations were perfect, I had a perfect day, and I won!.
Leas Visma bike's manager, Tom Pazdik, was satisfied after the result in Keuruu - Jyväskylä. Klement Duda did very well today. Everything turned out as we planned it, and Klement Duda had the power to win, said the manager.
