The new American team WTTD has had big success since the forming of the team back in late April 2009. The team sticked with its local talent and hired only the Colombian Nistor Drida who started his career at the Colombian team wolf 3 seasons before WTTD was created.
The Colombian has despite his good finish mainly conquered results on time trials where he finished 2nd in two Division D races.
Lionel Tarasi is however the most successful rider on the team. Being a time | | trailist, Tarasi proved his talent when he won the Holbæk TT after the team climbed the ranks and reached the Second Division also known as the Zyte Division. Along with his earlier success, Tarasi scored 232 points on the global ranks ensuring him a place as 191st, though he will probably go up even higher.
WTTD manager Charles Steinhardt lead the team through its success and now has what seems to be the biggest challenge ahead: Advancing to the Top Division. Being placed 70th on the world ranks,
| | WTTD has only 20 positions up to the hard Top Division.
A tough struggle
If WTTD scores 215 points more, the team will be able to reach the Top Division as they would barely overtake the French team Archer's position in the top.
The struggle is however tough. Can WTTD keep the success going and make what could be a historic move into the Top Division? We'll get our answers in the nearest future - or further down the road, as WTTD is certainly a team to look out for.
