Anderberg Introduces Wheel Series
by Nick Lissner, at 16/6-10 - 00:15 GMT

GERMANY: Former top rider Äme Anderberg, who had his glorious days on the former Top Division team Team Zyte, introduces the first wheel in a new series coming up designed by no other than himself.
At a press release just before the start of the Germany Tour prologue, Äme Anderberg introduced the cycling community to his wheel known as Loki. The wheel intended for climbs - a discipline

the man himself managed to dominate for several seasons.
"Since I retired, I've kept quiet and met with some of the world's best wheel designers, and together we have made this new wheel set. We have a few other demo products we will be revealing shortly. They are almost ready to go into production", said the former rider.
Whether or not Äme Anderberg will put his focus

on other types of products is yet unknown. When asked at the press conference, he quickly moved on to the next question reminding the journalists about the topic.
Rumours say that sources close to Äme Anderberg mentions a Loki Pro edition being one of the mentioned demo products. The Loki Pro wheel provide an even better performance comparable to the best wheel sets out there.

More products, that's great news Nick! Even though I can't afford them :P

Team Zyte at 00:35 16/6-2010
I think I'll shortly introduce the remaining products, such as more clothing options, handlebars.. and possibly more if I can find good use for it. :)
For instance, I'm making a team spirit / satisfaction factor where comfortable equipment will have a positive influence.

  Best regards,
  OCM Developer Nick

With regards to equipment roughly how much does each 'star' represent in terms of performance increase? There have been numerous theories talked about but as (unlike bottles/bars at 2%, jerseys at 1%) there is no official data no-one can really tell. Any hints nick? ;)

FFL at 02:03 16/6-2010
I got worried I didn't have the best climbing wheels anymore, luckily Ame was a better rider than he is wheel manufacturer and his new wheels aren't as good as some of the others :-)

Handlebars on the other hand, now thats a bonus I'd like to add to my bikes :-)

Team Zyte at 11:04 16/6-2010
Right FFL, how can they even live without it?! :)

Korten Cycletek: I'll soon be releasing the new manually which will reveal this. :) I've put a lot of thought into that recently - also considered to change the engine at that point.

Well Scherman became a pundit, so figures Ame would try his hand at equipment design lol.
