Another season, another moment to shine. That is the spirit one should have at the beginning of the season. There are too many moments of despair ahead of us that we must cheerish the time that we have not failed yet. And with another season we also have another list of memorable things on the OCM calender and the first one is in France and for Top Division it is time to hit the mountains. Luckily for division five they have a nice sunny Sicilian race.

   Alpe d`Huez Classic

With Alpe d'Huez Classic the teams have no time to prepare themselves. It is day five and the top climbing teams are eager to win one of the big races of the season.

Many winners of the race have again managed to get a decent team at the start and it is going fast from the start. Some riders try to breakaway but like so many times it is the last climb on the Alpe d'Huez that seals the deal. With a final burst it was Hristofor Radentsov, sprint4live, who managed to stay ahead of Jerry Grundin, Team Celeste. A great victory for a team that is known for its timetrial section.

   Classico di Siracusa

The Sicilian race around the city of

Siracusa is always an interesting venue. A victory here could propel your team into division four and towards more lucrative races and better tours. The problem is that this race is for the ambitious teams and the fallen angels from the upper divisions. A mixture of young and old and that shows in the victory list. This year the sprinters are ready again to battle it out. Will we see them as upcoming stars or are they one hit wonders. When the bunch raced towards the line it was Elias Volonte who managed to stay ahead and took the win. Ahead of Berger Beni, Silencio and Ferdinand Engel, Concept2M.

Would have been fitting to have Silencio winning on the home territory of Omerta
