Another week has passed by and another tour has ended. And not just any tour but the most prestigious tour on the calender. We are here in Germany as we follow the Germany Tour. The Top Division teams have waited for this race a whole season and they are ready for it.

   Germany Tour

A big battle between the sprinters Clayton Storrs, English Sprinting Team, Perceval Lasalle, Team Tirilla, Kevin Surface, Team AEK and Frederick Longosiwa, Nairobi City Cycling Club marked the first part of the tour. With victories for Clayton, Perceval and Frederick it was exciting to see the outcome of the Sprint Classification. It was only when Heidelberg – Freiburg started that the real classification rider emerged. Patryk Drozdowski, Team Stredet took that stage with brute force and consolidated in the timetrial. He took the victory when he won the stage Munich – Kempten. Both the prologue and timetrila where prey for Andeby with a victory in Kiel for Sebastiao Cesario and in Munich for Florian Everaerts. With Clayton Storrs and Kevin Surface winnen the stages in Potsdam and Berlin it was certain that Frederick Longosiwa could not win his fifth sprint classification and it was Patryk Drozdowski who prolonged his Germany Tour victory.

   Criterium La Provence

The big race in the south of France attracted again a lot of teams that wanted to test their climbers and grab a trophy in the proces. Criterium La Provence is a highlight at the end of the calender and not only for the good weather. The riders were treated again with a challenging course over the hills of the Provence and a climbing finish on the Mont Ventoux. It was a great spectacle as Pierre-Antoine Redon, Ron Cycling Team, managed to leave his fellow frontrunners behind and fought a battle against them and the mountain. He was victorious in a heroic victory, more than a minute before Patryk Drozdowski, Team Stredet and Geerd Franken, Il Grillo.

Baltimore Invitational

Division four has their sprint race in Baltimore when the best sprinters were invited to play in the seasonal finale. No big names this time but that did not stop them to give away a show to the people in Baltimore. It was a great dash for the gold as RBS Lübeck kept the peloton in one piece. From behind it was the power of Bruno Cesar, Penico Avulso that surprised everybody and Matvei Beskryostnov, RBS Lübeck, could only finish second. Christopher Feaux, BrokenChain, took his second result with third place.
