This is the week of the tours, we have both the Spanish Vuelta de los Castillos, which is already underway as we started the week, and the Russian Perm Tour. The Topdivision tour in Spain is, as said before already on its way and we rush over to visit that one first. It will be a rush against the clock as we would love to see the Dutch classic race in Rotterdam too.
Vuelta de los Castillos
As we visit the Vuelta they already have finished the fist stage but, the best is yet to come. The mountains provide a good surface for many good climbers in top division and we see different riders win at the big stages. But the most interesting part is that in the end every favourite lost on one stage or another a big amount of time. That made it exciting untill the end. The stage around Morella gave a good indication on who would be winning it and only the last timetrial would give another outcome. With a more than exceptional race it was Farruco Alonso who was able to beat all the others with a big lead ahead of Jayden van den Kroon.

Sprinting Classification
With a stage win and a good second place it was Ely Henault who was able to secure a second Vuelta Sprinting Classification jersey. It is his third in total and he defended it against Kevin Surface who was close behind with two stage victories Ely Henault is able to score points in the hills where Kevin Surface can not and that was vital for his victory.

Youth Classification
Missing the General Classification by a mile did not resulted in many long faces in the surroundings of team NECFTW. It was Jayden van den Kroon who finished second but secured a much deserved Youth Classification victory and becoming the successor of Farruco Alonso who was this season's winner. Big hopes have been written in the books of Noppes for coming episodes.

Perm Tour
With the finish of Vuelta de los Castillos still in our mind we rushed towards Russia where Perm Tour was about to begin and this four day tour attracted many good teams from division three where this tour is holding a special place. It is not the biggest tour but it is the one with the richest history. And everybody wants to become a winner of a race won by Elias Marquez, Solomon Henschel and Matthias Drejbo amongst others. With a stellar first race it was Burren Connemara who made his wishes known to the others and claimed the first leaders jersey. Lucio Cesar won the second stage and these two riders giving their calling cards but it was a rider in the back who figured it all out. Brooke Diuguid finished, forth, eleventh, twelfth and twentyfifith. Is that spectacular, no it is not but, it is enough to win Perm Tour because the trick is not to win stages but not losing time in stages and Brooke Diuguid did not do that, giving Help his first tour victory.

Sprinting Classification
With a first stage victory it was Hugh Inskeep who could collect the Sprinting Classification jersey and secured enough points in the other three stages to keep the jersey until the end and beat Øystein Ottesen of Men of Steel with a big margin. And it could be a first podium place for Greenland.

Youth Classification
With a second place Lucio Cesar was happy enough, being beaten by a better rider with more experience. Knowing that he won the Youth Classification gave CyclingClubChomutov the confidence that he has a good rider for upcoming races in similar terrain and maybe even win the Perm Tour General Classification in the near future.
