A week like any other in OCM. Nothing special has happened and that is completely fine. The Zyte division tour Haute – Normandie has finished and some dreams were shattered in the races and particular, the classic races. But apart from that it was a quiet week. Because of that we went on a trip to skydive and despite all enthousiastic stories you here from that it was only scary as frack. Let us take a look who took home what prize.

   Haute – Normandie

The north west of France, host of Haute – Normandie and famous for its wind, rain and cobbles attracts numerous division two teams that are willing to torture themselves for the victory in one of the stages and maybe the red leaders jersey. With a terrible third stage it was YCO who lost the tour to Drapeau Noir instead of him winning it it. Raivis Rukmans might have blown his last chance to be a legend. Cloud Atlas and Bywater CT are the happy ones to acompany Dra[eua Noir on the stage.

   Generall Classification

  1. Móra Grosics, Drapeau Noir
  2. Kirby Ussery, Cloud Atlas
  3. Kadir Gonçalves, Bywater CT

With a third place and a victory in the Youth Classification it is Kadir Gonçalves that

holds the future in the cobble races for years to come. Bywater CT is very lucky to have a rider like this who could have won the race if he was a little bit more stronger. In a few seasons time he is that strong. Team airik and Rigana have some nice youngsters in their team also and just failed to bring home the bacon.

  Youth Classification

  1. Kadir Gonçalves, Bywater CT
  2. Rune Horn, Team airik
  3. Levi Van Linthoud, Rigana

   Turnai – Turnai

When we are talking about cobbles we can not forget that the true cobbles are in Belgium and division three had their cobble pinnacle in Turnai – Turnai. The race around the town of Turnai and surroundings was haunted by bad weather and an almost complete field of riders could not finish the race. The American powerhouse Andy McDaniel was able to beat all the other riders in the last lap around Turnai, leaving the Welsh champion Darrel Wicher behind, who finished second before the cobble specialist Carmine Damiano.

  1. Andy McDaniel, Supernutz
  2. Darrel Wicher, Lardy Boys
  3. Carmine Damiano, LFC Rado team

Mito – Tokyo

Division two just finished their classic in Japan. Mito – Tokyo is one of the great sprinting classics and it was ABK who finished first, claiming his second trophy in this race. Eleven seasons after the great Lean Ahnfeldt-Mollerup it was Tomas Hartmann who finished first in a big field after a controversial finish. He pushed Yulian Abdulov into the boarding claiming a victory that would not be his. Protests from team NightmareChaos were in vain after intervention of the Danish OCM management. No faul play was noticed by the judges.

  1. Tomas Hartmann, ABK
  2. Artur Radomski, Legia
  3. Odd Monsen, Team airik
