   The Italian tour in division three is about to start and this is a tour for those who can ride the hills and the clock. Twentyfour teams have entered and we will look at the different favourites in the three stages. The Province of Lecce will again be a splendid decor for this seasons race.
  
  Torre Vado - San Cataldo
  
  The first stage starts at the Ionian Sea at Torre Vado and leads through the province of Lecce to San Cataldo on the Adriatic Sea. The riders will pass many hills and in the end will sprint for victory on the shore of the Adriatic Sea in San Cataldo. This season the route goes through the rural part of Lecce. Amongst the favourites for the victory are;

  San Cataldo ITT
  
  In San Cataldo we are for the second stage, the very important time

trial stage. The winners of yesterday should excell here or they will be passed by the great timetrial riders that join this race. They all know that you can still lose the race against the clock. Favourites are;

   Michel Archer, mutants madrid
   Jovan Sesto, radu
  
  San Cataldo – Montalbano
  
  The last stage will go south from San Cataldo to end near Montalbano. The riders will ride north along the coast line. At Lendinuso it will go inland and passing Squinzano, Campi Salentina, Carmiano and Castello di Copertino it will move into Lecce where it will finish near Montalbano.
