The Aussies welcome the sprinters of division three to their east coast again. Many teams are having high hopes for this race and the field is filled with great sprinters. Most have won big races and are willing to perform at their best. The Australians are awaiting a nice tour with a lot of action.
nonnies
The South African squad of nonnies are most likely riding for Peppino Ingaro. The Italian could do well and he has support from Natal De Caxias. The erratic decisions of their manager might cause them a few points. But a sprinter should go for a top nine in this race, at least once.
Vitória FC
With Dominick Helton, Vitória FC is going for a victory in the sprint. And this rider can finish fast. He has not won this season but, that can change in the flat stages in the beginning of the tour.
Team Tirilla
One of two big names in this tour is Team Tirilla. He has joined this tour as a stepping stone to the higher grounds he once was. What attracted him most was the flat stages and with Philbert Seaman, why shouldn't you. Winning in Norway already and wearing the Irish colours, he is focussed.
Drake Racing
Let us hope that the riders of Drake Racing are more confident then their management. Where Isak Antonsen thinks of winning maybe one or two stages, Sig, Drake Racing manager, is only thinking that his men stay on there bikes properly and not crash. What has happened to be so frightened one might ask.
Bing Team
What does a manager need more in a race that is known for its flat stages. If you have Eljah Rogash in your team you have not many wishes left. When asked for a statement though, the manager of Bing Team lost his words and only stared into the distance.
Fissa
Gilles Rouge is a rider that should have done much better this season and maybe he saved everything for the Kanagaroo Tour. There are many points at stake here and the manager is consirned he will loose them. Already making up excuses before the race starts.
| | THE DUTCHIES
Where one expects nothing the other is full of expectations. When you have Milo Hulscher in your team and he has topform you can expect something indeed. The rider is a favourite for the Youth Classification and propably will do will in the General Classification.
Borussia Milano
The Italian team of Borussia Milano is having faith in Lauro Hormandi. Their new star, and he should make Borussia Milano jump straight to division two. This would mean he has to score big in Australia and we believe he can win a stage but a top nine is all that is expected.
Equipo Easy On
One may not know the name of Equipo Easy On but when you do, you know what you can expect. Tough competition from one of the best teams a few seasons back. A decent team brought them back and a great Kangaroo Tour would make this comeback even more interesting.
old town racing club
Walking all day with a smile is not difficult when you have Keegan Shuba in your team and understood he is the best rider in the tour. And when you know he is in topform you can be optimistic to say the least. Hot favourite to win a lot.
Pomada
Pomada is in Australia supporting his Dutch captain Cobus Rijkaard. A decent rider but he lacks that little bit of finesse to do well in the sprint. No real result, besides a second place, this season and we believe he will not add more these stages. Speechless was Indurain after this.
logoloos
It will be all or nothing for logoloos in Australia. They have a decent timetrial rider and are assaulting the first stage. They need more results to make something of the season or the big tumble continues. Will this be their season savior or their slide into oblivion.
Grant Thornton
Grant Thornton comes from Canada to do well in the flat stages. A result for McKenzie or Faerch is all he wants to make this tour succesful. But with injuries in his team after the Race of the Minutemen he is missing some well needed team spirit.

NightmareChaos is here with Hal Terrell and he wants to do good in the flat stages. A decent sprinter with nice support could get result and a top nine placing after five stages. The lack of inspiration lately could rub off to his riders though.
jmtoler
Why would you come here if you only have riders for the first stage. You come here to win the first stage and should you feel hopperific. We will most likely see these riders up front on stage one and after that we won't. They could carry the leader jersey though for four days.
mapei bianchi
When you do not know what to say, say nothing. That is a saying that is more then true but, when you have Edan Teitke you can be a bit more talkative. We will not believe he can win the tour or even a stage. A decent result is most likely possible though.
Hommerts Cycling Team
With Zlako Chaloupka, Hommerts Cycling Team is overconfident. When they were asked what they wanted to do here, they just shouted, win Kanagaroo Tour. And although they have a good rider and will do very good here, we think this is the Youth Classification winner. Not the General Classification winner.
Rupon CC
Will Gustavo Antón be able to fend off the attack of Chaloupka for the Youth Classification. He has a nice team around him and has the knowledge how to win it. But he lacks topform and that would probably be felt in the end. We think he will win a stage though, and that is nice.
Epinay cyclisme
One of the last to enter was Epinay cyclisme and with Odilon Girardin they have a rider that can go for the Youth Classification and the General Classification. Without topform we believe he would have a hard time though. The manager says he has not lost hope yet and he is correct in doing so. A rider to watch.
Elmeros
Renato Buan is more then acceptable for this race. He is able to win a stage or two. He will probably lose a lot of time here and there but he will be in the top nine in Sydney. And a top nine is a very nice result for this team.
