What is hot, what is not. Everything that has happened is in the weekly breakaway. It is a bit later then usually, because I was hot last week.

   Vuelta de los Castillos

The second biggest race in division one is the Vuelta de los Castillos. Many castles to be passed and many contenders ready to try and grab one of three jerseys that are waiting for them at the end. With the first four races divided by Melvyn Jégou and Ola Skår it looked like this was going to be a very boring race. Stage five however was a complete off day for Ola Skår and this gave Fergus Harrold the opportunity to grab the lead. He would not be in trouble on the last timetrial and he could collect another General Classification and a succisive one this time beating Galtero Quevedo and Ola Skår.

   Perm Tour

Four stages around Perm in Russia is one of the highlights for many division three teams. Perm also welcomes many returning teams. In Ochjor twenty teams waited to start the first sprint race and it was Folkert Gerrits, V02maXXers, who secured a victory and did good for the Sprinting Classification. Ottar Styrkársson, BennysBadekar, restored order in stage two and never was in trouble after that, winning his first major tour and BennysBadekar's second.

   Race of the Minutemen

  Race

of the Minutemen is already an institute in division four. Many teams really want to participate and schedule their calender around this race. Will I get too many or too little points and will I make it. Twenty teams have made it and it was a determined Twente Cycling Team manager who wanted this to be his race, finally. And on stage one Roman Petrescu took the leaders jersey. He expanded his lead on stage three, stage five is his for three times in a row already. And finally, Twente Cycling Team won Race of the Minutemen.

  World Tour

   Lisboa - Peniche (WT A)

Canada was victorious in Portugal with a succesfull jump, two kilometers from the finish. Joshua Dabney was unwatched as all the big favourites looked at eachother and before the knew it he had a few meters and never looked back or slowed down. With death defying turns he managed to stay away and secured a victory for Canada in Peniche.

  1. Joshua Dabney, Red Star
  2. Terkel Lindegaard, Sons of the Desert
  3. Benjamin Kervel, NECFTW

   Stavanger - Hauge (WT B)

The Norwegian World Tour race in Stavanger was full and many riders wanted to do good for their country. Serbia was best with Drazen Cetnik. This rider was one of the best at the start and as world champion he should win this. Although it was one of many victories he still claims that winning for his nation is giving him the best feeling over any other victory. Besides the World Championships ofcourse he added.

  1. Drazen Cetnik, Red Star
  2. Otávio Velasques, WalrusPT
  3. Frédéric Mukamurenzi, Silver Giant

   Aberystweth - Llanelli (WT C)

With England at the start for the division C race in Wales it was no surprise that they took the victory with Evan Tomkins. Bad management lead them to this division but they are determined to return to the top again. In the meantime all they have to do is win races. And a lot of them. But with a team like England that should be doable. The first hurdle is taken.

  1.

  2. Musa Kolahdouz, Team Oasis
  3. Erdal Özkan, Manisaspor

   Grasse - Toulon

Starting in the perfume capital and riding towards one of the nicer cities in the south of France, many riders wanted to collect the trophy that belongs to this race. Many good sprinters joined and after the final breakaway was caught the teams rolled in Toulon. On the main boulevard it was a fierce battle for meters and with a final jump it was Jan-Peter Werff who secured victory for mikai. A true sprinter with his third trophy.

  1. Jan-Peter Werff, mikai
  2. Dominick Helton, JJL24SS
  3. Felix Lally, Team AEK

   Uttendorf - Matrei in Osttirol

The climbers of division seven joined in Ost Tirol for the climbing classic from Uttendorf to Matrei.
Many riders thought they had a chance until they heard of the return of Gradient Levellers and Dominik Ucinski. Both manager and rider joined forces to return to Top Division and this was just an extra opportunity to be glorious. Halfway the final climb it was Dominik Ucinski who left his fellow groupmembers and took off. He secured a solo win, more then seven minutes ahead of number two.

  1. Dominik Ucinski, Gradient Levellers
  2. Chad Talkington, Cyclists
  3. Renato Eiró, xxx123

   Lappi Sea GP

It certanly was the week for Folkert Gerrits, joining Lappi Sea GP in great shape and excellent mood he was the very best when the peloton charged towards the finishline. He took off, never looked back and put every other sprinter at least three bike lengths behind him. Raising his arms and looking back he even had time to do a silly dance on his bike and blew kisses to his fans before crossing the line.

  Hey. Where's Essex?

NightmareChaos at 13:23 16/5-2014
South east of London, it borders the counties of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire to the north, Hertfordshire to the west, Kent across the estuary of the River Thames to the south and London to the southwest
