  With the twelfth Race of the Minutemen on its way we take a look at the teams that have entered the race. We see familiar faces and new ones. From experienced teams and manager to rookies and smooth baby faces. As the mountain stages are important and especially the time trial race up Mount Washington, this one can make a rider lose the tour almost won on the stage up to Mount Jefferson, we most look at the climbers to win the jerseys. Filip Hamre is a great rider in top form and able to win both General and Youth Classification. He has competition in the form of Roman Petrescu for General Classification and Durango Lazaro for the Youth Classification. Folkert Gerrits must battle against Yens Ingelborgs for the Sprinters Classification.
  
   Avataria
  
  Is this the team that will finish first after six stages. He signed up first so we know he is fast and with Filip Hamre they have a young climber in top form. After a second place in last season's race they want to win the Youth Classification this time. The General Classification also.
  
   Vitória FC
  
  With Yens Ingelborgs Vitória FC gives the captain role to a very young sprinter but, with the help of experience Maurice Tinkham he could win a stage when it ends in a bunch sprint. Leaving without a result is a failure for this team. Will they leave with the Sprinting Classification or with nothing at all.
  
   Nefal
  
  Nefal relies on an experienced rider from Spain. Former winner of Perm Tour in division three, Noe Rubio should be able to get a top nine result in the General Classification. If this rider is in top form he could be a very easy bet for a stage win and more. We have not heard from Nefal about it though.
  
   trackstah07
  
  trackstah07 has seen better days when he was regarded a well known figure in Top Division. In division four they try to get back up and with Heriberto Radondo they have a more then decent young Spanish rider. A sprinter in the true sense and an outsider for the Sprinters Classification. Watch him in the flat stages.
  
   Twente Cycling Team
  
  Some teams are addicted to curtain races. Twente Cycling Team finished nineth, twice fourth and last time he was second in the General Classification. He is in doubt if he hates it more then that he loves it. With Roman Petrescu they will go for a result in the time trial stages and finally that desired General Classification victory.
  
   NJ procycling
  
  Firsttime NJ procycling signed up with a team of sprinters. With Rogerios Merlo they have a sprinter that might surprise in the flat stages and earn some money and points for this team. Expectations should not be high and the experience and pleasure

of participating should be cherrished.
  
   Sons of the Desert
  
  The Desert boys from Belgium joined their star Terkel Lindegaard. Without a doubt the best rider in this tour and he should be less then satisfied with anything less then a result or a win in the General Classification. A jersey is expected by the team manager, will they get the Sprinters Classification or do the get some stage victories. Everything is possible as long as they take something back home to Belgium from Race of the Minutemen.
  
   BCTeam
  
  Nari Iacone is no longer regarded youth and he has to battle the big boys now. Will he be able to hang on to surprise the followers with a more then decent result in the end. This rider will surely finish top nine in every stage and in the top nine in the General Classification.
  
   iheb pro team
  
  With Ammar Zenagui Tunisia has a great rider for the future. With iheb pro team already winning the Indonesian classic twice they know how it is to peak on the right time. We believe this rider has not finished his training yet and could be even bigger later. He will go for the Youth Classification.
  
   Ghost Riders
  
  With two Malayan time trial rider Ghost Riders want to win the two time trial stages. And perhaps even a double. Hoe Guan Yacob could secure a Youth Classification with two nice results in both stages but, that is not the main goal here. At least one victory out of a possible two.
  
   AK Pro Race
  
  Another team that is new to tour racing. AK Pro Race joined Race of the Minutemen from Poland with Fermin Veron. This young Colombian climber is ready for the mountain stages. A great rider with one weakness, he has no supporting team with only two decent helpers. The rest is probably going to take off early in the stage for a breakaway.
  
   Cyclists
  
  Chad Talkington is the big man at team Cyclists. With a more then decent team behind him Chad Talkington wants to take on the big riders for the General Classification. With a second place in Criterium la Grasse they just missed out on a Classic victory. Race of the Minutemen should be the place for the first victory this season.
  
   cilmeri
  
  Can cilmeri honour the last Prince of Wales by winning Race of the Minutemen. Koszo Imre is just not good enough and the rest of the team is too weak to be a thread to the big teams in this tour. They can surprise with a break away early in the race or a top nine in the mountains stage.

  squadra sora from Belgium believes they have a nice captain in Dominik Van Hecke and this is a rider that can get a result in the stages that end with a sprint on a though terrain. In a small group this rider should surely win. A result or a top nine finish in the sprint stages should be expected and with that both Kilbane and Dominik should be pleased.
  
   Pasiegos cycling
  
  There was a time Spanish teams flocked Race of the Minutemen but this season we only have Paseigo cycling. With Durango Lazaro they entered with a rider that could surprise after six stages with a more then decent result. This rider is just twenty-five and can still win the Youth Classification and will surely surprise people in the stages uphill.
  
   Folding Bike Racing
  
  Folding Bike Racing is the Chinese team that entered the tour. We believe this is the first time a Chinese team joined Race of the Minutemen and this shows that cycling is a growing activity.
  With three riders trained as time trial specialists there are two stages we should watch for this team. The other three riders are Chinese riders given a chance to shine in a break away.
  
   Por Noster
  
  From the Island nation we greet the great Por Noster. With Olimpio Djukate they want more then just participate. They want to be the star that draws all the podium misses to the team. And with members like Olimpio every woman want to see for themselves if it is true.
  
   Team Blomgaard
  
  Another rookie entered the tour. Team Blomgaard have in Sebastians Bergholds a decent rider that can stay long enough to not lose much time in the mountains and stay up front in a sprint stage. With a decent time trial they can even go for a top nine finish in the General Classification. With some nice results he could even take the national jersey from Aldis Meijers.
  
   Alpha Plus
  
  The second home team is Alpha Plus. Already a winner many seasons ago they want to win it for the third time and with the help of former winners Jesus Gasuilan and Baltazar Pitillas, home rider Dominic O'Sullivan is the teams captain this time. A more then average rider who can finish very consistently. Will he be able to do well in the uphill time trial he could even win it, if he has top form.
  
   V02maXXers
  
  Is Folkert Gerrits able to get another jersey. After a clean sweep in Fast on Wheels they should be a contender for the Sprinting Classification. They will probably lead the peloton during the flat stages to get Folkert a great lead out train. They will drop in the mountains stages to regain strength for the last stage and secure a Sprinting Classification.
