  Nederlandse Tour is on the calender again. And the sprinters have all lined up again for the start of this tour, dedicated to the bunchsprint. Twenty teams have entered. And only two of them are not concentrated around a sprinter. The rest wants a victory in one or two, or even more, stages. Let us see who has entered, what riders might do well. And if there are any surprises possible.
  
   Greenride
  The best team joined the quickest. With Karl Hall they have a great rider and in Avery Nijholt they have the most expensive rider in the OCM history. With 1.2 million dollar Nijholt gives Greenride the deserved nickname, Million dollar team. Karl Hall will certainly score some results and, maybe one or two wins.
  
   Team JAN
  Franz Amelung, the German superstar for Team JAN, will be leading this team again. He was superb in Volta ao Porto, finishing second in the Sprint Classification. Will he be able to better that result and win it. We fear he will not and he has to be satisfied with a few top nine places.
  
   Onie
  From Fast on Wheels to Nederlandse Tour. Victor Pardo is able to shine in both races. In Denmark however he was the big shot, in Nederlandse he is just one of many. He will be able to compete with the best sprinters but, a win would be a gift from the angels.
  
   Opium Fueled
  The Hong Kong based team of Opium Fueled is new in Nederlandse Tour. Will their experience as National Team manager help them? And will Melchior Hemery be eager enough to take back the French number one spot. This team will have to cherish the idea that they participated in this years edition.
  
   Stroopwafel
  Stroopwafel is a great team with some nice results and trophies. But with Menno van Dalen they only have a rider for a nice result in one stage, maximum. With eight trophies and no jerseys, this team is a one-day race team. A top three for van Dalen is all they can hope for, the General Classification is for some other time.
  
   Conero cycling team
  The Gibraltar national champion will lead this team. Winning the national jersey will probably give some extra motivation to this rider but, he will fall short in this great pack of sprinters. A top nine finish here and there would be an achievement for this team. Maybe they can surprise the big teams in a breakaway.
  
   Red Star
  Rumour has it that Rytis Kondrotas is riding his last Nederlandse Tour for Red Star.

Only a win will secure him a spot on next year's squad. After two Youth jerseys and some podium finishes in stage and General Classifications this rider surely deserves a victory. but, victories are not won by that. A great rider deserves a great goodbye, a top nine finish in General Classification and a podium in a stage, let us hope so.
  
   Eixample ATH
  Eddi Autzen is not your first pick as a champion in Nederlandse Tour. But his Topform will probably give him wings and perform better then those of similair quality without it. Will it be enough to secure some nice results is a question we can only answer after the tour. We fear that he will fall short and should be happy if he finishes in forth in a stage.
  
   Dormilon
  A favourite has entered. Fernando Allende is a great Spanish sprinter and can even win in races that require some power when the roads go up and down. As there is a deciding stage in Nederlandse in the south, the hills of Limburg, this rider will secure a top three place in the General Classification. With topform, he has “winning” flowing through his vains.
  
   Team AEK
  This Greek/Dutch team is an interesting team. At first sight not good enough but, very balanced. All their riders are pretty decent. They will not play a major part in the General Classification but will probably give a nice result in a stage during this tour.
  
   CCFC
  When you say old, you think of CCFC. No wonder he accompanies himself with young men. His new protege is young Sammy Ågren from Sweden. And we must say, this rider will win the Youth Classification, or finish second. And if he can do that, why not go for the General Classification. He has topform, is young and has a experienced manager behind him. The keys to success.
  
   Yuri SuperTeam
  With Tadaki Ko we see another great rider enter Nederlandse Tour. He does have a Germany Tour in his legs and we doubt that he will do as good as he could have done. He will however still be able to finish one or two stages in the top three and, maybe even win one. He had success in Germany so it might rub off.
  
   nonnies
  From South Africa we greet nonnies. They have their roots in the Netherlands so they always feel at home here. With Matias Salto they bring a Spanish sprinter with a lot of experience in the Netherlands. This former utrack rider has some lower division wins under his belt and can show his skills in the big league. He lacks the support which means he is on his own, wish him luck.
  
   Team

airik
  Will there be topform. That is the question and if the answer is yes, the winner of Nederlandse Tour will be called by the name of Urbano Arzu. A sprinter, a hiller, a semi-climber and able to ride a TT bike. Only devine interference could prevent him from winning this race. Without topform, he is still the best and a top three will be expected. At least.
  
   Club Ciclista Riaza
  The Spanish outfit of Club Ciclista Riaza brings a dominant Spanish team. Only Yefrem Shursha is from abroad. They will all ride for Cuartio Canas. This young rider will want the Youth Jersey, it is his last year he can go for it. He has the power but, does he have the luck. Great rider, huge talent, big expectations.
  
   IGF
  The second Belgian team is IGF. They have secured the young Polish rider Roman Wieckowski. A nicely trained sprinter with some decent support. A top three finisher for the Youth Classification and will earn some money for IGF this tour. Not a winner though.
  
   Wizzyweb
  Still being supported by the weird internet firm from the Netherlands, Wizzyweb joined Nederlandse Tour with Belgian Bertrand Soetens as number one rider. Will Jose Aguilar support him, when he knows he is the best rider of the team. This decision will either turn out to be genius or, will crumble the team from within. He should have chosen Jose Aguilar as captain.
  
   Megaman
  The timetrial team from Spain is here for the first stage in Groningen. The prologue is important and they want to have the General Classification for at least one day. If they have it longer then one day the tour is a success. If they do not win stage one, the tour is a failure. What can you say more, not much.
  
   Luveaucek
  Rudolf Matejka is the Slovakian star in this Czech based team. A big team with a huge experience in Top Division. Will he be able to beat the other teams with this young sprinter? With Czech veteran Malina as lieutenant Matejka will be able to win the Youth Classification at least. He will be in Topform, the complete nation of Slovakia is looking at him. And so are we.
  
   Cider Riders
  English team Cider Riders are drunk of joy when they took the last available spot before many other eager teams. With Coby Livingston they rely on a good timetrial rider that wears the national colours. This American should give Cider Riders a top three result in the first stage. Interesting to see is that the other members of this team are Germans. Are there secret funds flowing from Germany to England or is this just some temporarily thing that CiderJ is famous for. Time will tell.
