  World Tour

  Birmingham – London
It is always a huge distance from Birmingham to London but, the riders all wanted that victory in one of the most prestigious race of the World Tour. Finish first with the Big Ben to your left and the Thames on your right. With the trophy presented by one of the royals present that day. Victoriano Parilla was the lucky one this time. He beat Brian Hitchesn and Lucio Agueda.
  1. Victoriano Parilla, Glamourade
  2. Brian Hitchens, Jonas Pro Cycling
  3. Lúcio Águeda, Glamourade

  Hamburg – Lübeck
The German division B race was a commercial for cycling. The weather was nice and spectators took their time to cheer the riders. When the complete peloton crossed over from Hamburg to Lubeck they were treated with a nice 4 lap circuit through the town of Lubeck. While some tried to break away the peloton never let anyone go. Kirk Narramore was a great finisher and took the flower ahead of Detari Catalin and Otto Landa.
  1. Kirk Narramore, Connaught
  2. Détári Catalin, Silencio
  3. Otto Landa, Scorpions POPRAD

  Minas – Montevideo
The big sprinters arrived in Uruguay for the second Minas – Montevideo race. An almost complete course would ensure a great sprinters finish in the center of Montevideo. And it was a spectacle on the famous Uruguayana boulevard. A last minute crash seperated a small group from the bunch and Gregor Bartenstein was the fastest beating Eduardo Vasconcelos and Iver Vanhoosan, giving Austria a nice victory.
  1. Gregor Bartenstein, peddelen
  2. Eduardo Vasconcelos, Touring Titans
  3.

Iver Vanhoosan, Welsh Phoenix

  The Classics

  Uttendorf - Matrei in Osttirol
The Austrian classic in division seven always attracts the best climbers. With winter at our doorstep this race has an extra level of hardness. In the end it was the Belgian climber Selleslags who was the best of them all. With only twenty five years he could bring his team many victories in the future.
  1. Jean-Pierre Selleslags, Team Genesis
  2. Jake Fulton, Toronto Dragons
  3. Ralph Szatkowski, Jajatazi

  Grasse – Toulon
Division two had their classical meeting with Grasse – Toulon. This race on the Cote d'Azur always finishes in one of my favourite towns in France. Toulon, easy going, nice weather and surroundings and the complete lack of tourists. It is a gem with a nice beach you can reach by boat. Franz Amelung was the one most lucky as he beat all the others to take home the perfume thropy.
  1. Franz Amelung, Team JAN
  2. Jacinto Aldeia, Onie
  3. Antonio Gabbrielli, Pink Piyama

  Zyte GP
The division three Zyte GP classic was this time in the Pyrenees. This travelling mountain classic in France always surprises the riders with a different route in a different part of France. So after the Alps last time, we went South, on the border with Spain. Tom Bella tried his luck five kilometers from the finish. He nearly made it but, Arnold Latey reached him 500 meters from the finish to beat him for first.
  1. Arnold Latey, Rotational Symmetry
  2. Tom Bella, VC Botafogo
  3. Marco Italiano,

Cyclocomotiv

Juberri - Pas de la Casa
A small country like Andorra can still manage a great venue such as the division five classic Juberri – Pas de la Casa. Ofcourse this is a climbers valhalla, in the middle of the Pyrenees. The Swede Birger Varg was best of a select group of climbers and gave his team their first trophy.
  1. Birger Varg, Qvibra Pro Cyclingte
  2. Wayne Harding, Orica Green Edge
  3. Jeffrey Hagy, Honor et Patria

  Astana GP
Cobbles and Kazkhstan can only mean one thing. Astana GP is starting again. The favourite failed in the end as he was securing a victory when he got a flat tire just meters from the finish. Julian Pope reached his hands towards heaven but it was in vain. Santos Zubizarreta passed him and was fortunate enough to cross the finishline first. Julian finished second ahead of Estebe Mauri.
  1. Santos Zubizarreta, CGPBMARCH
  2. Julian Pope, Drapeau Noir
  3. Estebe Mauri, blast

Indeed - splashing the big bucks.

Finz - am I right in thinking you've submitted a trophy for Zyte GP. A complete coincidence I'm interested I assure you....

NightmareChaos at 15:29 18/11-2013
No I havent submitted any for Zyte GP

ScotterPop at 00:26 20/11-2013
We've tried a few in the past. Some have been implemented for other races, but neither Finz or I have been able to come up with something great for Zyte GP yet.
