The youth classification was won by Frank Dodge, with Ratko Cicic coming in six minutes, six seconds behind with Claude | | Lafon seventeen seconds behind him.
Now to the stages:
Stage 1: Hoogstraten Prologue: The prologue was dominated by the time trial riders, but there was one exception. He’s Vojislav Bogicevic, a cobblestone rider and he managed eigtht. The stage was won by Spain’s David Ballesteros, and he really looks like a prologue specialist for future tours. Next fastest against the clock was Martinho Jácome beating Kacper Turowski. These two got second and third respectively.
Stage 2: Hoogstraten - Arendonk: This stages results nearly match the top three of general classification. Aaron Bailey won this king stage, with the surprise rider of this tour, Frank Dodge in second and reigning champion Lowell Shingleton coming in third.
Stage 3: Arendonk - Geel: A surprise winner in this stage in the form of Otto Willumsen, who broke away to win the stage. Aaron Bailey came in after him to gain more time on his rivals, with Frank Dodge having another great day in this tour coming in third.
Stage 4: Geel - Antwerpen: Final stage of the tour was won by a breakaway again, by the veteran Dane Otto Willumsen. He had a great tour for his team Conero cycling team. Then came guess who… Aaron Bailey. Ensuring the tour win for him and his team. Third place was awarded to Lowell Shingleton for the second time in this tour.
Next on this week's article is Tell us your age.
There was a study done on the age of the managers of OCM. Here are some of the numbers, kindly given to us by thread organizer Grant Pedler, with his team Rigana and the man with The Beast and his own language, Andreas who manages ABK.
Andreas has provided a
| | histogram, comparing the age of the managers with the amount of them that posted a comment in the thread.
He also calculated the mean (all of the ages added up, then divided by the amount of managers in total), the sd (Standard Deviation means how different the ages were distributed) and the length of the age.
Mean(age)= 29.62069
SD(age)= 10.14254
Length(age)= 58
(Teens 10; 20's 25; 30's 18; 40's 11; 50's 3; 105 Joss)
Now we move onto the transfer news:
Aaron Bailey will be sold to POM Wonderful for 230K. This also means Bolt will have the reserved spot for Tweedaagse van Antwerpen tour next season.
Lúcio Águeda and David Ballesteros were involved in a swap, plus money deal. The first went to Glamourade and the second went to Yuri SuperTeam. Glamourade paid 59K plus David Ballesteros to get Lúcio Águeda.
Eliot Wacker and Jurriaan Reiling both got brought by FFL. They moved from IndieRock and WestPomeranian for 185k and 190k respectively.
disco cycling bought Thodoros Drimalas from De Waterdragers for a total of 185k. A real bargain for a rider who has won Cymru Taith three times.
Greenride let go of Ulrich Rousseau for a total of 190k. The rider will now race for Honor et Patria. He has great all-round potential.
Young English sprinter Efrain Tinnin now races for DCM as he was transferred from Galliano4827 for a fee of 140k.
