  Division A

   Bruxelles – Liège
Bruxelles cheering the riders away as the started their journey to Liege. In between they needed to pass the hills of the Ardennes. The rain made sure the riders did not have an easy job. Finally on the last hills before Liege a small group was left up front. And a few kilometers Portuguese Avelin Imperial, kakaolin, jumped away from them. He finished alone and well ahead. Werner Bouma, Nairobi City Cycling Club, of the Netherlands was quickest of the trailing group beating Spanish Urbano Arzu, Team airik, who took third.

   Barcelona – Quanca
Spanish mountains and a scorching sun were the ingredients of the World Tour race in Barcelona. The heat gave us a very boring race as no rider was able to or wanted to jump ahead. The complete pack stayed together until the last climb. From here the teams positioned their captains and it was upto them. As the Netherlands needed a good result they jumped first. Gerlof Pothuizen, Penendal Racing, looked like securing a win for them. But he went too early and could not finish it. He was passed by first Danish Bjorn Eskildsen, WV De Dommel, who secured a nice victory and even lost second place to Englishman Addison Tungate, Team Unibet.

   Rotterdam – Amsterdam
The top nations gathered in the Netherlands. They had to ride from the big harbour town of Rotterdam to the capital of Amsterdam. The flat roads never gave any breakaway the room to feel safe. And like many other sprint race this one also ended in a bunch sprint. It was a close finish and at least five riders seemed to claim the victory here. But after the photofinish a great roar came from the crowd as they heared Sebastiaan Pruischer, DCM, had won his homerace. He narrowly beat Kade Jennings,

Team Trier, of Australia and Karl Hall, Greenride, of the USA.

  Division B

   Radomsko – Kruszyna
The Polish race invited many teams from divisinon B again for sixth edition. The peloton stayed together upto three quaters of the race. At that point the big teams raised the pace and many riders had to forfeit. One youngster took the plunge early, Harlington Tlhomelang, SK12KOTH, the talented South African was never seen by the others untill at the podium. Maruyama Dai, SilenceLotteFan, gave Japan a nice second place while Timotej Adamec, Pekarna Grosuplje, finished third for Slovakia.

   Chos Malal – Loncopué
Were the other nations raced in Europe, division B had to conquor the mountains of Argentina. Loncopué was again the finish. With those mountains ahead only the best prepared riders could be able to ride up front and so it happend. Only the better captains could stay ahead and it was Serbian powerhouse Dražen ?etnik, Red Star, who took his first World Tour victory. With twenty-two year, there should be more to come. He beat Japan's star Maruyama Dai, SilenceLotteFan, in a one-two sprint at the finish. Mohamed Nuri Mosbah, Lots o Huggin Bear, secured some points for Libya.

   Ningde – Luoyuan
As they missed their home race the Hungarian team promised fireworks in the press conference prior to the race. And so it happened. They send two men into a breakaway. Those two were upfront almost the complete race and every wondered why they would do that, they would be caught for sure. But it fitted the tactics of the Hungarian coach as he had now a nice target for his star sprinter, Détári Catalin, Silencio. He jumped towards them in the last kilometres and they tried everything to stay ahead. But the peloton under the lead of Sweden tried to catch them.

Jan-Olof Holm, Rigana, was able to beat Catalin at the line so all their work paid off. Tadaki Ko, Yuri SuperTeam, of Japan finished third.

  Division C

   Auckland – Hamilton
Auckland was very proud to host the first World Tour race in New Zealand. The course let the riders north trough the hills of the northern island. Hamilton was the destination and many teams were eager to win here. In the end it was the strongest rider of the peloton that finished first. Croatia won with Vid Lazic, Ponika, beating Argin Emadi, mapei bianchi, of Iran and Duardo Salgado, PEKAC B, who finished third for Uruguay

   Zürich – Lugano
The Swiss mountains awaited our riders in division C. Many exotic nations traveled to the snowy peaks which gave an interesting scenery as teams from Cape Verde, Sao Tome and Prinicpe and Burundi managed to go to the starting line. As there was an early breakaway the peloton was in charge and on the final climb the big climber came upfront. The breakaway was reeled in and in the end Jean-Baptiste Ishyaka, Silver Giant, made the final jump to win the race. Finishing second was Venancio Bento, sprint4live, of Cape Verde and a minute later Venezuelan Moises Bricenos finished.

   Budapest – Debrecen
The sprintrace in Hungary was a nice change in the battles on the mountains we had seen lately. New teams should be in front compared to the last times. Some nations promoted and others relegated. A great show was given to the Hungarian spectators in Debrecen. The complete peloton stormed towards the finish line and in a photo finish it was indeed Kauto Turunen, suomi superstars, of Finland who celebrated correctly. Paulo Jossara, Team Galicia, was second as he just jumped over Sabri Rasim, Designa Legends PPDB, of Turkey.

I don't like this article. There is no mention of my riders winning.

Oh. They didn't. Well, then it is a nice article!
