   Birmingham - London

Many surprises in this race through the English countryside towards the capital of the country. Local favourite Cadman Kantor could not cope with the pressure of being a favourite and finished just outside the points. This gave opportunities towards the nations in pursuit of England. Spain for example finished on a nice third spot with Rio Loredo, SierraEspadán. He was right behind Joost Paschiers, Stroopwafel, of Belgium. But the biggest surprise was the victory of an Irishman in the World Tour. Philbert Seaman, Scotterpop, gave Ireland a great moment. He is in form and already won two classics. And

this is a cherry on the cake.

   Hamburg – Lübeck

At the start in Hamburg the riders were very nervous. The regular nations of division B still had company of the unfortunate big nations that dropped out of the A league.
France, Portugal and Japan had some great sprinters in their squads. Tadaki Ko could not deliver though, he was beaten for third by Portuguese Antão Salomão, Greenride. Scotland finished on a respectable second place with Sheridan Phippen, THE DUTCHIES, in great shape. But winner of today was Melchior Hemery, Opium Fueled, who snatched the win from the others. After winning the Rotterdam Classic this is a great result also.
