Six stages in the Valencia region. The scorching sun will try to beat the riders. The eastern part of Spain will show its famous castles and let the riders experience the mountains between Valencia and
Castellon de la Plana. We do not know what the outcome will be but we do know that the road towards it will be great.

   CCFC

The Norwegian squad was first in line to secure a place in this tour. They support their big star Peter -Jan van de Wal. This Belgian star will be their ace for the overall victory. Einar is bragging about his topform for a while now.

   Die Tour Phantome

Icelandic is traded for Portuguese in this team. A great Tomas Belo will lead this troop of multinationals. Tomas is in topform right now can he maintain his form the complete tour. If he can people should have an eye on him

   Drapeau Noir

Drapeau Noir started his assault on the Vuelta with a press release, claiming he did not sign up his best team and did not expect anything. Kishor Liuni will try to do well and make his manager proud. And get another unexpected podium finish.

   peddelen

Alfonso Melazzo will be captain for peddelen. He will be supported by Anatoliy Michala. Is this the choice of a genius or will peddelen lose his good run in the sprinting classification. Only time will tell but it looks like a good decision.

   Jonas Pro Cycling

The Danish squad has only one goal. The sprinters jersey with American champion Brian Hitchens. He is in good form and maybe in top form. This will be a real challenger. His support team is very well equipped, this is one to watch.

   Yuri Super Team

Gert Sijmonds is challenging everybody for the blue sprinters jersey. Wearing the Dutch champions jersey will, most likely, give him wings. We hope he will survive the mountains because only the flat stages are important for this team.

Il Grillo

Toli Quesado is the young star of Il Grillo. The next seasons to come this rider will be contesting for the overall classification. This season we believe he will be pleased with a top youth classification.

   scuppernong

Rolf Enoch does not need an introduction. Winning two world tour races already this season and giving England the Clash of Nations win, this rider will really want to go for a top result in this Vuelta. And we believe this could be his year.

   NECFTW

Bonifacio Ballestero is ready for another try at his beloved jersey. Having the support of a former Volta winner should be enough to secure a great result. But we fear Ballestero will no longer have what it takes. Goodbye great rider it was nice meeting you but time has caught on you.

   Megaman

This Spanish team brings six Spanish rider to their home tour. They want to do good in front of their home supporters. But it would be better if they had send a better squad. This group of riders will not really perform. Maybe a result for Xever Teodro in the time trial.

   radu

Will the Vuelta de los Castillos be the return ticket for radu? He is in Zyte division now and was just able to sign up for this Top division tour. Will they succeed with this team. Viana is their best rider to give them results if he gets all the support.

   Hard Gaat Ie

This one-rider team relies heavily on the wonders Marius Lassen brings. Will he bring the team his next results here in the Vuelta. Most likely, a top nine result is always within grasps of this rider.

   Hommerts Cycling Team

Tadaki Ko, the fastest man on the planet, has entered the Vuelta. This will mean the sprinters jersey is already spoken for. It will go to Japan. Manager Justin Boonstra is counting on his sprinting train.

   Kremer

  Kremer

is ready for the Vuelta. His young star Dominik Ucinski is all buffed up and he has a great support team with him. As a young rider he can go for the youth classification but this Monte Rosa winner wants the big price. General classification of Vuelta de los Castillos is what he wants.

   Legia

An American in Polish duty is here to get a nice result. He might be in special form. And if he is, this Timothy Connor, is a big favourite. As one of the older teams in the circuit. Legia has a vaste experience and will use it to get what he wants.

   Team Crazy Downhillers

Will this crazy team deliver another stunning result. They have won a jersey seven seasons ago and will try to win another with Umberto Impellitteri. A great rider but he lacks some team around him. A nice result in a stage is possible. But not a result in the general classification.

   Rode Stier

Dutchman Rodolf Leezer is ready for the mountains. His climbing abillities are very good and he will use this strength for a great result. But he lacks overall skills and that will break him up in the end.

   Matrix team

The winner of Germany Tour will now contest the roads of Spain. Nicholas Ryle will now try to beat every other rider again. They have a nice team but lack the surprise factor they had in Germany. Every rider will be on Nicholas wheel. Let us see how he will cope with that.

   Gradient Levellers

The defending champion has returned. Farley Redman will lead the Gradient Levellers again in the Vuelta. The team he brings with him does not strike fear in the hearts of his competitors but he did win it last year. Will he do it again or, is his team too weak now.

   Quick step minded

Evan Topper is the undisputed captain of the Belgian outfit. This means they will go for what they do best. Sprinting and the sprinters jersey. Will they pull it off or is a climber stealing their bounty and make this tour a waste of good sprinters legs.

Nicely written! But will be hard for the sprinters to win the SC. As no sprinter won it in the past. Ko's dp will also suck but doesn't matter.

Tss, Bonifaas is in the prime of his life.

  He will show you.

Drapeau Noir at 22:07 29/4-2013
The statement about my press release is not accurate: I signed up "my best team" of climbers but it's also the worst I ever signed up in the Vuelta! No more Lind, no more Hyder...

And, another thing, I'm "expecting" a few top9 nonetheless.

I completely agree! If I had a better one I'm sure I would send it! X-D
