The World Tour
by Finz, at 19/2-13 - 23:58 GMT

   Birmingham – London

The English race in the World Tour is known in the peloton as “visiting for tea at the Queen's.” Starting almost in her backyard and racing toward London, the capital of England. This was a race for English supersprinter Carroll Mullan (English Sprinting Team) but like the two season before, he was close but an Englishman was second. Brian Hitchens (Jonas Pro Cycling) had the best leadout and won for USA. Third was Polish Jakub Lewicki (team tdb)

   Hamburg – Lübeck

Northern Germany, the Schleswig-Holstein area. This time the sprinters are the hero's of the World Tour. The flat roads invited more teams then the hills of Norway and we welcomed a new nation, Puerto Rico. In the end and after 210

kilometers it was a bunch sprint. Adrian Why Kit Mohd Luftee (TEAM SERFIN97) won the race again for Malaysia. This season he beat Slovakian Martin Farkas (Scorpions POPRAD) and Finland's Kauto Turunen (suomi superstars).

   Lisbao – Peniche

The World Tour continues in beautiful Lisabon. The first division teams are ready although we missed the Australian boys. The hills of Lisabon notified the riders of what was to come. Because this Portuguese race is known for its hills. Some nations knew they had no chance from the start and sought their luck in a break away. But in the end it was a small group of favourites who arrived in Peniche and saw the breaking waves first. Home favourite Luis Landim (Darkwave Recordings) beat Brendan Huynh (WalrusPT) and Urbano Arzu (Team airik) to become the first Portuguese rider

to win this race.

   Stavanger – Hauge

While the top teams searched for the nice weather in Southern Europe division B had a race in Southern Norway. The hills of Rogaland awaited them when they assembled at the Skagan. The route was going south to the town of Hauge and on the way the riders seen many hills and stretches of road. In the end the group was still largely intact, and with only Argentina, Brasil, Jamaica and Eritrea missing, ninety six riders where heading for the finish. In the end only small groups of riders arrived with Scottish Fabian Sauer (Ron Cycling Team) as a winner just out sprinting Irish Amos Gorden (Twente Cycling Team) and Saint LucianTruman Vancil (Il Grillo).

  Oh God,

He has rights to place things directly on here.

This means the end of the newspaper and the start of a very experimental collection of writing.

Nice article. I will have to say than UK has the best leadout train out there. It is simply stunning.
