Perm Tour - A Preview
by Yuri, at 4/11-12 - 17:22 GMT

Perm again welcomes a group of riders that want to compete against themselves and against nature.
And this season a very large amount of champions have entered.

Blues Racing have entered their first tour. And they are the exception to the rule.
They are the one without a champion but, David Ball wants to win this season for once. To become one.
Second in line is our first champion OcaƱa is joining this tour with his Welsh champion Hartley Rich.
He will have to work hard to defeat Burren Connemara with defending champion Freek van der Werff. Will he again win this tour, rumours are that he is in topform.

From Brazil we have VC Botafogo with young star Tom Bella. This will be the future youth classification champion in Perm. We heard this rider is working hard for it. And with his average we will hear a lot from him in the future.
From the future champion to the former youth classification champion. Perm and Cymru were won by Auro Team. Rik Roosendael is in a support role these days but we all remember his powerrun.
Indierock has a wannabe champion in their midst. Number two from the U.S. Virgin Islands, Eliot Wacker. He will one day become a champion from his country.
NightmareChaos is here with former Perm and Cymru winner Slavomil Dittrich. Slavomil trained specifically for this tour. Will he be in topform?

Lots o Huggin Bear is so confident that

they entered a team of homegrown men. And left at home the Libyan champion.
Pom Wonderful joined with Monte Rosa stage winner Erik van Engelen. A rider that wants to be this season youth champion in Perm. He is in the form of his life.
Cremtec knows what it is to win a youth classification. With Jude Evans they have a back to back winner of this competition. A champion not only from his home the Seychelles, but alsohere in Perm.
Rantanplan has just won Tour of Hawaii with Hermann Herzog a Classic that says enough of the possibilities of Herzog. He wants to become a Russian champion.

Telek@m has no champion in his team right now. They real champion is the teammanager. Winning all classifications of Perm once. Aswell as a Germany tour. This team is lead by a champion.
This is our weakest champion. Designa Legends PPDB is the team with the least amount of results upto now. We hope they can bring in some extra results or wins.
English Cider Riders has some experience in Perm, with Gervaso Samper, former sprint classification champion of Perm.
Ron CYcling Team has had no wins in tours yet. They do have a champion. Fabian Sauer, Scottish national champion.
SilenceLotteFan, standing on top at the podium is not new for their Essex tour stage winner Wit Pelgrims.

Wizzyweb has in veteran Douglas Crawford a multiple stage winner and Sprint classification winner from Perm in their

team. This rider likes the flat roads in Perm.
Ponika from Croatia has arrived in Perm with Viktor Bertovic, a multiple stage winner in the Monte Rosa Tour.
CGPBMARCH from Spain has been in the peloton for a while. You can see that because they already delivered the winner of Lappi Sea GP. A winner is never far from this team. They can provide champions.
C C Ribadulla is a champion of their own. They are the youngest team that entered in Perm and in their young existence they already won a classic race. They are champions already by coming here.

Perm wants to give these champions a warm welcome. Many riders have trained for this race. Many managers have dreamed of this race. Let it begin and, let we celebrate the new champion.
  We want to pick a few favourites for the various classifications;

  General Classification
  Slavomil Dittrich - NightmareChaos
Freek van der Werff - Burren Connemarra
  Jude Evans - Cremtec

  Good preview Finz ;)

Good luck for all teams. I don't know if finally my captain will be in Perm Tour. At this moment I have only signed up 5 riders (and none of them is a captain).

For GC, my vote is for Dittrich.
