And again, evil arrived in America. The Race of the Minutemen is about to begin. The tour in division four.
Many managers are looking forward to it, to enter this milestone in their career. But there is also fear.
Fear of the evil that is always participating in this tour.
From the first day, this tour is hunted by an evil spirit. This evilness manifest itself in the form of a mortal. An Australian.
Called by the name of Goddard Scothern. He is riding for Telstra, headed by Simon Jones.
Simon Jones and Goddard Scothern. They are partners in crime seeking ownership of Race of the Minutemen.
Stage one - Revere's Midnight Ride
In the black of night they ride. Many will try to do good. Some even circled this stage in their diaries.
But the black suits only one. One that identifies himself with the black.
The blackness caused riders to tremble. Even topform could not save them. Topform vanished when they heard he entered.
Goddard Scothern emerged from the dark and, stormed towards the end. He was back and how. A first place, familiar spot.
He has this leaders jersey. And neither Labid Mustafa, Team Hurricanes nor Afanasy Tyannikov, rooney17 could do anything against it.
Rumours went around that Goddard Scothern stole their topform and used it himself.
Stage two - Lexington - Laconia
Lexington was home to some of the witches trialed in Salem. The infamous witch trials, the great injustice, where innocent women were hanged.
Accused of witchcraft. Inoccent women hanged. Real witches would be wise not to get caught.
They are still around and one man knows where they are. Lexington sees the riders go away. On their way to Laconia.
All riders hope but, only one knows. He is the one that found the witches of Lexington. He is the one that raised his arm in Laconia.
He is Goddard Scothern. They say he beat Sylvester Bai, Team ANZ Bank and Marcos Miguez, POM Wonderful but this time he was sure to win.
He did not beat anybody. He finished first, that is it.
Stage three - Laconia - Littleton
Dark clouds and rain all day in Laconia. The week started sunny and warm. Great early summer weather it was.
Chills and winds entered the town with the riders. Or did they only come with one.
The race was Goddard's, and previous stages where called the dark stages. The riders are standing at the start and in the wind.
Suddenly, | | just when the gun fired his shot, a beam of light struck one's face.
A devine look on this rider and as by wonder he was victorious over the darkness.
Jesus won this battle and moved close to Goddard. Jesus Gasquilan from Alpha Plus won, ahead of Sylvester Bai Team ANZ Bank and Douglas Crawford, Rigana.
Stage four - Littleton - Mt. Jefferson
Littleton has seen a wonder enter and send him on route to Mount Jefferson. Where would this mountain lead to.
To the most enlightened moments or the darkest hours of this tour. We must first reach this starting point of hope or dispair.
Many riders tried to put their mark on this route. But this was the stage where the dark and the light would battle it out.
A great battle. And in the end the light delivered a decisive blow to the dark.
Jesus Gasquilan won again, and made it two in a row. Ahead of Patrico Matutes, CGPBMARCH and beaten Goddard Scothern, Telstra
Stage five - Mt. Washington ITT
Mount Jefferson and the clock. These two were the biggest enemies of the riders in this stage.
Everybody was looking for two riders. Hope and fear were so close, the hoped for one but, feared the other. The clock was ticking its time away and it was in favour of no one.
Time is on no ones side. But wings do great wonders and if you have wings, you can fly. And the one that could fly was no other then Jesus. Jesus Gasquilan delivered the final blow.
He was on top the fastest and turned Mount Jefferson to the gate of heaven.
Isidor Spoelberchs, his teammate and Noe Garate, Ocana completed this podium.
Stage six - Concord - Faneuil Hall
Everybody was certain. The light has conquered the dark. The evil was overcome. The darkness in the form of Goddard Scothern was never to return to America.
Jesus won and Jesus was praised. People shouted his name, they painted his name on walls and even on cars.
Jesus was what every true American was talking about. Jesus is great and a true victor, a hero, a rolemodel.
But when you least expect it, this is when you know, the evil will never be gone for good. Goddard Scothern won the last stage. Ahead of Sylvester Bai, Team ANZ Bank and Noe Garate, Ocana.
But it was in vain. The victory was for Jesus Gasquilan. Light has won over darkness. The jersey was his. The jersey made of stars from the heaven and the stripes from the roads the passed.
Jesus did what he was
| | supposed to do. Jesus saves. Jesus saved the Race of the Minutemen. And this race will now be cleansed from the darkness of Goddard Scothern. A man that will only live on in memories and slowly will fade away, when time passes. But be aware. When you think it is all over, he can suddenly reappear. Just like in stage six.
But when you believe, and truly believe, you too can win, just like Jesus did.
